About Echoes

Hello and thank you for visiting my shop! I’m Suzannah, owner of Echoes and general jewellery enthusiast. Let me tell you a bit about myself and why I started selling jewellery. 

I’ve worked in museums and heritage for much of my career, and along the way I’ve developed a real fascination with how objects move through people’s lives. What draws me to jewellery isn’t just how it looks — it’s the journey behind it. Every piece started somewhere. It was designed for a reason, made by someone, chosen by someone else, worn through different moments in life, and eventually passed on.

Echoes grew from that way of looking at things. I source vintage, antique, and other pre-loved jewellery, with a particular soft spot for silver pieces that show character, craftsmanship, and a sense of history. I’m often drawn to jewellery with symbolism, interesting hallmarks, or design details that place it in a certain time or story.

To me, these pieces aren’t just second-hand — they’re part of an ongoing story. They’ve already meant something to someone, and now they get the chance to mean something to someone new.
