A substantial sterling silver curb link bracelet, fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1919 with the maker’s mark B.BS. The bracelet is formed from solid, graduated curb links (each stamped with the lion passant for sterling silver) with good articulation and weight. It is fitted with an original dog clip fastening and a T-bar, both also hallmarked.
Curb bracelets of this type were widely worn in the late 19th and early 20th centuries and continued in popularity into the post-First World War period. Their robust construction made them practical everyday pieces, often gifted or purchased to mark significant life events.
