Moss agate statement ring – rich red & forest green, hallmarked c.1990, size R/8.5

This bold and earthy moss agate ring is a total showstopper. Set in solid sterling silver, the large oval stone glows with deep red and burnt orange tones reminiscent of warm carnelian hues, beautifully contrasted by inky green moss-like inclusions — like a tiny landscape captured in stone.

The striking red-orange colouration comes from natural iron deposits within the moss agate, giving it that fiery richness often associated with carnelian, while maintaining the unique, intricate patterns that define true moss agate.
