Carolyn Pollack leopard skin jasper & silver Ring, size P (US 7.5)

A substantial sterling silver ring set with an oval cabochon of leopard skin jasper. The stone shows its characteristic patterning of rounded, mottled spots in brown, red and ochre tones, formed through the natural aggregation of silica and iron-rich minerals. It is held in a plain bezel with a high, tapered shoulder, framed by a twisted silver border that continues along the sides of the ring.

The interior carries the CP maker’s signature for Carolyn Pollack, an American designer known for sculptural silverwork and the use of prominent natural stones. Her designs frequently feature rope-like borders, hand-finished surfaces and bold silhouettes, elements reflected in this ring.
