A sterling silver ring by Carolyn Pollack, set with a domed oval pink rhodonite cabochon.

The stone sits within a serrated bezel and is framed by layered silverwork, with radiating petal-like forms and applied detailing that create a floral, almost sunburst arrangement around the centre. The shoulders of the band continue this decorative language, with engraved and applied elements.

The ring reflects the Southwestern design influences associated with Carolyn Pollack’s work, where bold natural stones are combined with ornate silver settings. Fully hallmarked for Birmingham 2012 and Stamped for sterling silver and attributed to Carolyn Pollack.

Rhodonite has historically been associated with themes of balance and emotional grounding. In jewellery, it is often understood as a stone connected to reconciliation and the working through of past experiences.

Weight: 13.3g

Size: N (US 6.5), inside diameter 17mm
