Indian silver pendant with repoussé bird and leaf motifs, hallmarked Birmingham 2004

Silver pendant featuring a broad, shield-shaped panel decorated with stylised birds and foliage in raised repoussé work, commonly associated with regional Indian silverware. The surface is bordered with small bead-like details and framed by a scalloped outline. At the top sits a substantial tubular bail formed from four ridged rings, allowing the pendant to be worn on a thicker chain or cord. 

Fully hallmarked for Birmingham 2004. Also stamped 'India', '925' and the sponsor's mark.
