Victorian silver spinning fob pendant, hallmarked Chester 1895

A lovely Victorian silver spinning fob set with bloodstone on one side and carnelian on the other. These little swivelling fobs were often worn on watch chains, carrying stones that were thought to bring protection and strength. The deep green of the bloodstone with its flecks of red contrasts beautifully with the warm orange glow of the carnelian. It’s a piece that feels both practical and symbolic – a small turning talisman from another time.
