Vintage silver filigree floral brooch

This vintage silver filigree brooch is formed as a floral spray, with layered openwork petals and elongated leaves arranged around a central blossom. The filigree is finely coiled and soldered, creating a lace-like surface with strong dimensionality.

The silver shows areas of darker patina alongside warmer, coppery tones within the recesses of the filigree. The reverse is fitted with a traditional pin and rollover clasp, which is in full working order.
