A vintage silver ingot pendant with a distinctive tubular form, fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1978. Ingot jewellery became especially popular during the 1970s and early 1980s, when British assay offices released these solid silver bars as a celebration of traditional craftsmanship and hallmarking. This particular ingot was produced by P & R Bushell, a jewellery manufacturer in Regent Place, Birmingham until 1982.
This piece carries that era’s fascination with purity and permanence — simple, weighty, and reassuringly tactile. A small but substantial token of silver history.
